Visa to Belarus for citizens of Iceland
Citizens of Iceland have the right to come to the territory of the Republic of Belarus with tourist purposes without visa for up to 30 days through checkpoint National Airport Minsk.
Required documents for entry to the territory of the Republic of Belarus:
- A valid general passport, the validity of which must exceed the date of intended departure from the Republic of Belarus by at least 90 days.
- Health care insurance, which extended to the territory of the Republic of Belarus and providing for insurance coverage not less than 10 000 EUR.
- Cash: for each day of stay an amount in foreign currency or Belarusian rubles equivalent to at least 2 basic units, or 50 basic units if the stay is 30 days.
Conditions:
- The period of stay in the Republic of Belarus should not exceed 30 days.
- The day of arrival and the day of departure are included in the days of stay in the Republic of Belarus.
- Entering and leaving the Republic of Belarus is possible through checkpoints Minsk National Airport, Brest Airport, Vitebsk Airport, Gomel Airport, Grodno Airport, Mogilev Airport.
- The established procedure for visa-free travel through the checkpoint at Minsk National Airport does not apply to persons arriving in the Republic of Belarus on flights from the Russian Federation, as well as those intending to fly to airports of the Russian Federation.
- The visa-free regime does not apply to holders of diplomatic, official, special and other equivalent passports.
- For citizens of Vietnam, Haiti, Gambia, Egypt, India, Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Namibia, Pakistan, Samoa, South Africa, a mandatory additional requirement is that the document for traveling abroad contains a valid multiple visa from the EU or Schengen area with a note entry into their territory, as well as air tickets with confirmation of departure from the Minsk National Airport or the airports of Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev within 30 days from the date of entry.
Important: Foreigners arriving in the Republic of Belarus are required to register within ten days with the registration authority at the place of actual temporary stay or on the website of the single portal of electronic services portal.gov.by. When staying in hotels, hostels, health resort and other collective accommodation facilities registration foreign citizens are carried out by the administrations of such institutions according to default upon check-in.
Citizens of Iceland have the right to come to the territory of the Republic of Belarus with tourist purposes without visa for up to 15 days to visit the visa-free territory «Brest - Grodno».
Entry and departure into the Republic of Belarus for a temporary stay in a visa-free regime on the visa-free territory «Brest - Grodno» is carried out through following crossing points:
- At road crossing points Brest (Terespol), Domachevo (Slovatichi), Benyakoni (Shalchininkai), Berestovitsa (Bobrowniki), Peschatka (Polovtsy); Privalka (Raigardas);
- At railway crossing points Brest (Terespol) – railway station Brest-Vostochnyj, Grodno (Kuznica Bialostocka) - railway station Grodno;
- At the crossing points of Brest and Grodno airport;
- At simplified crossing points Pererov (Belovezha), Lesnaya (Rudovka), Privalka (Shvyandubre).
Required documents for entry to the territory of the Republic of Belarus for citizens of Iceland:
- Valid passport or substituting document, intended to traveling abroad.
- Documents that provide citizens the right for individual or group visits to the visa-free territory «Brest - Grodno» (a special QR code that is issued after purchasing a ticket and is issued for an additional fee).
- Health care insurance, which extended to the territory of the Republic of Belarus and providing for insurance coverage not less than 10 000 EUR.
- Cash in an amount equivalent to at least 2 basic units established in the Republic of Belarus for each day of stay.
Condition:
- Term of stay on the visa-free territory «Brest - Grodno» should correspond with the term of the tour realized by the tourist operator.
- Term of the tour, including extensions, should not exceed 15 days.
- Citizens that enter to the Republic of Belarus on the basis of a document that provides the right to visit the visa-free territory «Brest - Grodno» are obliged to stay only in the visa-free territory «Brest - Grodno».
For group visits to visa-free territory «Brest-Grodno», the group can also visit areas of the Grodno and Brest regions that are not part of the visa-free territory. A prerequisite is the passage of the tourist route through the visa-free territory «Brest-Grodno».
Please note that entry is only possible with a document granting the right to visit the visa-free zone (QR code). Please inform us about the need to issue this document at the initial stages of booking.
In all other cases citizens of Iceland must have a visa to visit the Republic of Belarus.
